Funeral Arrangments
First, I want to say that I am very thankful to all my friends and family who contributed to helping me care for my grandfather over the years. Your contributions large or small really meant a lot to me. I also want to thank the management at my employers over the years for being understanding of my tion to care for my grandfather. The flexibility to take days off and work from home as needed really helped me to better care for my grand father. I'd also like to thank my lady, Tora, without you these last 4 months would have been impossible!
We've made arrangments for his funeral service for October 11th at 10:00am at James A Morton & Sons Funeral Home at 1701 Laurens St, 21217. The burial will occur shortly afterwards at Mount Zion Cemetery, located at 3900 Hollins Ferry Road, 21227. With the repass occuring shortly after the Burial until 4pm. All are welcomed to attend each event. Optionally we'll be holding a public viewing of his body on Friday, October 10 th from 3:30-7:00p at James A Morton & Sons Funeral Home.
Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away with no life insurance or savings. The family has pooled funds together for the downpayment for his burial services but still more help is needed.
